Sammy Olympics A Great Success

During this past weekend, the Fraternity held its first Sammy Olympics organized by Exchequer Mark Kleinman. The day started off with brothers breaking off into 2 teams. The first part of the day included physical outdoor events that ranged from basketball and football games to egg and melon tosses. The second part of the day included indoor events ranging from a pie eating contest to trivia questions about the Fraternity. Both active and alumni brothers including our Chapter Advisor Ralph La Croce came out and participated in the events holding true to our Fast and Firm. Suprisingly, both teams ended up tying at 206-206 thus making everyone a winner at the 1st Sammy Olympics. The Fraternity wishes to thank Exchequer Mark for his tireless efforts in setting up this amazing event and looks forward to the next Sammy Olympics. Fast & Firm

Newsletter Lauched

The Apple of Knowledge; the Mu Upsilon Newsletter launched last week in PDF format. So far the response has been very positive; and the Chapter hopes that the Brotherhood will continue to enjoy our bi-annual newsletter. We hope to make the newsletter a quarterly publication similar to the Octagonian, however at the moment we are only publishing a Fall and Spring issue; no summer or winter issues are planned at the moment.

Please continue to respond to the newsletter either favorably or unfavorably; we always take Alumni criticism and comments seriously and hope to get more of them.

The next issue of the newsletter is due to be published in Late July of this year. And with your support it could be made into a printed version and mailed to the entire Brotherhood as well as e-mailed out.
